Empowering Youth for a Better Zanzibar

Center for Youth Dialogue (CYD) was officially registered on 8th September 2014 with registration number 2309 under Zanzibar's Societies Act Number 6 of 1995.

CYD searches for collective efforts to empower, support and advocate for youth development in Zanzibar through programming that covers Peace, Security and Social Cohesion, Good Governance, and Economic Empowerment.

The organization's programming is anchored in youth empowerment and civic engagement, targeted at youth between 18 to 35 years old, with a special focus on girls/women, people with disabilities, rural/remote populations, and vulnerable groups.
